Opening to the Path of Heart can include ego death and spiritual crises as well as ecstasy and increased well-being. Emma has found peace and fulfillment; but her personal journey was rocky. She is now an elder and published author of 7 books, as well as the Founder/Director of the “Foundation for Energy Therapies” and “Integrative Mental Health for You”(IMHU)—both are not for profit organizations. IMHU offers a certification program for “Spiritual Emergence Coaches” and other online courses. Emma has a PhD in psychology and is an expert in supporting people in “Spiritual Emergency” (transformational crises) as well as Brazilian “Spiritism”. Spiritists use spiritual treatments in their psychiatric hospitals and community centers. Emma’s been impressed at how Spiritists support human evolution and give treatments without charge—from the heart. Emma inspires others to bring similar spiritual treatments into our hospitals and community centers so we can improve our ailing healthcare systems outside Brazil.
